Searches Handled by a Partner
A name or location entered into a search tool is transmitted to the third-party provider that operates that tool. Kootenai County Busted Mugshots does not keep or log those search terms on its own server. The provider's privacy terms control what happens after the query leaves the page.
Messages and Requests
An email or other message sent to the site may include the sender's name, return address, and the details needed to answer. Those messages are retained for reply and basic recordkeeping. They are not shared outside the site's operating group unless disclosure is required by law or a valid legal process.
Technical Details Collected
Routine server and analytics systems may record ordinary technical details when a page loads. These details help deliver the pages and identify faults, but they do not turn the site into the custodian of Kootenai County jail records.

Security Has Limits
Reasonable technical and administrative safeguards are used for information handled by the site. No internet-connected service is completely secure, however, and no promise can be made that a system will never suffer an unauthorized access event or breach.
Visitors Under 18
These pages are intended for adults. The site does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If a minor has sent information, a parent or guardian may use the Get in Touch page to request its deletion.
